Sensational Ugandan diva one ‘Juliana Kanyomozi’ has poured out her heart in deep sorrow for her longtime friend and stylist one ‘Chuck Brian Salvator’ who was among the revelers that perished on a boat that capsized killing many as they were heading to Mutima Island, Mukono last weekend.
The ‘Wakajanja’ singer proves not in control of tears rolling down her face especially after losing a friend in such a painful tragedy.
“@thatlastking my bestie, I’ve been trying not to believe the news. I’ve been hoping you’ll txt me at some point and tell me yo alright. But I can’t run away from the truth no more. Last time we spoke not too long ago you wanted to buy me a drink, I had to perform at a wedding and I said I can’t make it, but I told you to “have one on me”… I wish I’d come and atleast hang out one last time. Thank you for making me look and feel fabulous with every outfit you handpicked for me, but most of all thank you for being my friend. I’m gonna miss you terribly Chucky. As you chill out in heaven, please have one on me. Till we meet again. I love you. RIP,” she wrote on her social media.
The Chuck Brian (The Last King) has been a prominent celebrity stylist as he is remembered to have styled-up singer Juliana Kanyomozi in her Wakajanja video which is one of his most recent works.
According to eye witnesses, ‘Earthwise’ was the name of the fateful boat that set off from Luzira portbell at about 4:30pm heading to Mutima Beach in Mukono in what was termed as the ‘Caribbean Feast Boat Cruise’.
It is further revealed that it required one to pay UGX 70k to be take part in the Caribbean Feast Boat Cruise featuring celebrities like; singer Iryn Namubiru, MC Isaac (NBS TV) who was supposed to be the official MC, Teta Sandra (host), DJ Meek (official DJ), Chuck Brian and Buganda Kingdom’s Prince David Wasajja.
However, it was at the last hour that MC Isaac will live to remember and thank God after failing to catch up with the boat cruise in time due to unavoidable circumstances hence sparing his life.
Meanwhile, the Uganda Police and Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) marine sections continue to search for other dead bodies which are expected to rise to 70 in total.
