Young brother to Buganda Kingdom King Ronald Mwenda Mutebi, Prince Daudi Wasajja has finally opened up on the Saturday boat capsizing saga that nearly costed his life if it was not by God’s grace to spare him among the 27 survivors.

This happens to be his first media interview since Saturday as narrated the whole deadly event to CBS radio presenter one Wamala Balunaba.

In this interview, Wasajja applauded the Uganda Police for having insisted on the revelers on board to put on life jackets before the boat left or else the death numbers would have been more than the current. It was unfortunate that the number of life jackets was less than the sailors.

Prince Wasajja also made his first public appearance yesterday at Kansanga Church as he attended a requiem mass for one of his friend who died on the same boat.

Meanwhile, security authorities are still struggling to get out the boat wreckage out of the lake and proceed with their cause of accident investigations as at least 60 bodies continue missing.
