Uganda’s Denis Onyango Scoops 2018 CAF Best Goal Keeper Of The Year Award

Uganda Cranes’ captain Denis Masinde Onyango was been named Best African goalkeeper at the recent concluded Aiteo Awards held in Dakar, Senegal on Tuesday, 8th January.

Moments After winning the award, Onyango shared his excitement on his twitter.

The Ugandan shot stopper was also named on FIFpro team of the year making him the only African based player to feature there.

2018 CAF Best 11.

Onyango was once again inspirational for Uganda Cranes in the qualification to the 2019 Total Africa Cup of Nations, making it unbeaten with a game to spare and not conceding in as many as five matches.

Onyango is enjoying his professional football career at South Africa’s club Mamelodi Sundowns with which he has won a number of continental trophies.
