Local singers Gravity Omutujju and Jennifer Full Figure have trashed the bursaries that were availed to the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) by St. Lawrence University to enable illiterate Ugandan artists pursue further education.
During an interview, Gravity Omutujju, requested that his bursary be offered to his sister who is about to sit for her final U.A.C.E exams because he at times struggles with her school fees, bt for him he doesn’t need to got back to school because he’s already rich.
The Ekyakuzaala Kyekilikuta singer then added that at the moment, he does not see any value for the bursaries before noting that he is contented with the musical success he has attained so far.
In addition, the highly controversial Jeniffer Full Figure also explained that the program is for selfish intentions, and just a marketing strategy for St. Lawrence University, hence she also wants nothing to do with it.
