Apparently, veteran band singer Halima Namakula was bounced from her “daughter” Rema Namakula’s Kukyala ceremony with Dr Hamza Ssebunya, due to her judgmental behavior.
Halima Namakula was stopped at the gate and denied access to the ceremony claiming that she wasn’t on the invitation Guest List even though she is the one who raised Rema Namakula and shaped her into the woman she is today.
Now Halima has revealed how bad she really wanted to attend Rema’s ceremony as she was also meant to be the Ssenga (paternal aunties), but was stopped outside and now she says she will be fully available at their traditional marriage, also known as Kwanjula on November 14, 2019.
Close sources revealed that Halima is one of the people who were totally against Hamza’s Kukyaala, in favor of Kenzo.
Which is probably the reason why she was bounced from Rema’s Kukyaala.
Reports also indicated that Halima had requested Rema to hold on, and not rush into introducing Hamza as her man, but she didn’t listen to her, as she wanted to prove a point to the general public, that she also has a man can wed her.
