As unapologetic and uncensored as he usually is, singer Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool has revealed that him being Jaberi Bidandi Ssali’s son doesn’t mean that he fathered him, or parented him in any way.
Bebe opened up about his dad Bidandi Ssali – the former Minister for the Local Government from 1989 to 2004 – by disclosing how he was raised by a single mother, after his father literally disowned him after he decided to become a musician.
The ‘Wire Wire’ singer went ahead and disclosed that he grew up in the ghetto but he just doesn’t behave like most people from the ghetto, because he is more civilized than them.
“Just because I’m the son of former local government minister Jaberi Bidandi Ssali doesn’t mean that he fathered me. In fact, I was raised by a single mother and I grew up in the ghetto.” said a rather outspoken Bebe Cool
He let the cat out of the bag speaking of how he created the Fire Base Crew to fight Jose Chameleone, but later Bobi Wine stole it from him.
When asked about Buchaman’s appointment as the president’s ghetto envoy, he emphasized that no one is more deserving of that position than Buchaman given his commitment to the Ghetto life.
