Dancehall Crew Ent. boss King Michael seems to be disgusted with the way how fellow NRM artist Bebe Cool embarrassed himself while appearing on a political TV show on Tuesday night.
The ‘Muko Muko’ singer, while speaking in an interview, disclosed that artists always discuss nonsense when hosted on political shows something that leaves them looking as if there is nothing they know at all.
He went ahead to express that debates concerning politics are not artists’ things but they force themselves in political discussions as if it’s the only means where they can cash in hugely.
“I can’t really tell the direction Uganda’s current music industry is taking because most artists are now involved in politics. Politics is not our thing as artists and that’s why you see that when some of our artists are hosted on political shows, they discuss issues that they are not well versed with and are dealt with a thorough beating because they are not used to that. Artists like Bebe Cool just force themselves in such debates because it’s the only source where we can get money.” said a rather fearful Michael.
