Uganda’s COVID-19 Cases Shoot 121

By Wycliff G; On Sunday, 10 May, 2020, the Ministry of Health-Uganda confirmed 5 new COVID-19 cases from 1,498 samples of truck drivers who tested.

The new cases comprise of 2 Ugandan and 3 Kenyan truck drivers who arrived via Elegu and Malaba Points of entry.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases to 121 in Uganda.

However, all 341 community samples tested negative for COVID-19 on the same day.

H.E YK Museveni addressed in a mask during the National Prayers Day held at State House on Saturday.

A total of 1,839 samples were tested at Uganda Virus Research Institute yesterday.

Uganda has in total 121 COVID-19 cases registered with 55 recoveries and no death yet.
