Bebe confirmed early rumors that the former dancehall singer succumbed to the virus which he contracted at Nsambya hospital after he was admitted.

We did all kinds of health tests on Allan, Nsambya did its first of COVID-19 tests upon his admission to Nsambya hospital. For a while in the tests, Allan diagonized with Tuberculosis on the brain,” Bebe said.

He also reveals how he applied for another COVID-19 test from KCCA days after Allan’s admission.

I requested for another test days after he was admitted in ICU, which was done successfully,” Bebe added.

Bebe further reveals, a week before his death, he had another later test done on him and it was in the later few days that his health deteriorated till he breathed his last.

I asked for a third COVID test while in ICU and so it was applied. We expected the results to be back on either Wednesday or Thursday the next week.

Due in the days when the results were pending, Shortkut got a problem with the breathing it being that he had TB and this was on Monday evening and he passed away on Wednesday.”

He plays positive to the KCCA later report that Shortkut had COVID-19 and this was on a phone call he received during the funeral service.

The next day during the funeral I got a call from KCCA telling me that the boy had contracted COVID-19 basing on the last tests done. Of course I had no authority to deny despite me possessing the last two certificates.

He gives verdict that the hospital had registered some COVID-19 deaths before and when Shortkut was admitted.

When Shortkut’s health detotiated, Nsambya ICU was closed because of the past patients in there had succumbed to COVID-19 so it had been sprayed and closed for a while,” he added.

Bebe also reasons from the fact that the nurses that routinely attended to Shortkut were doing the same to other patients and days after one of them was revealed positive for the virus.

I am contented with the last COVID-19 report because the nurses attending to most patients in such hospitals are often the same. Remember they had some deaths before of the virus. I later got reports that one of Shortkut’s nurses had tested positive for COVID.
