Moses Kibalama out of danger; set to de discharged – Family

Family members of Moses Nkonge Kibalama, the former founder of the National Unity Platform party (NUP) have dismissed reports that he was either dead or in critical condition as was circulated yesterday.

A section of media reports yesterday claimed that Kibalama had died which were later rubbished by the NUP spokesperson who said “he was not dead but in critical condition” Speaking to reporters via Zoom in Kampala, Paul Kagombe, the former NUP Secretary General and a family member to Kibalama said he was doing fine.

“He is out of danger, he can order for the meal of his choice he can talk and ask for what he wants. No one consulted us on his health but we want to assure you that he is well and just pray that God helps him recover fully and return to his business as usual,” he said.

Kagombe noted that Kibalama will be discharged from Bombo Army Hospital where he was admitted recently any time from now. “We are waiting for the results of yesterday’s tests and if the doctors advise that can take him home, we shall indeed take him,” he said

He commended the hospital medics “for their tireless efforts which they did towards saving Kibalama’s life. “I have at least been there even Today’s morning but the way the medics cared on his life is commendable we thank them for their tireless efforts.”
