Police Re-arrests Mozey Radio ‘Killer’: One Of The Bar Workers Speaks Out

ENTEBBE: Police have re-arrested one of the suspect in mozey Radio’s murder who was granted a police bond last week. Hassan Muwonge who is working as a supervisor at the De Bar located in Entebbe Town opposite cinema hall, was re arrested and detained at Entebbe police station after police opened up fresh charges on him following the artistes death. Muwonge was initially arrested with other two suspects including the manager George Egesa, Zavia Lukere but later bonded out.

According to Entebbe police Deputy OCIID Richard Anvuko , the trio had initially been charged with assault and grevious harm on the police file SD REF 85/22/01/2018 but when the file is brought back to the police, the charge will be amended to murder.

Anvuko further said that they were to write, to the Interpol and Aviation police regarding the key suspect Troy Wamala who is still at large. “according to our investigations Wamala can’t escape and we shall get him by all means,” asserted Anvuko

However, the Auditor of De Bar, Innocent Arinaitwe, refuted the allegations that mozey Radio was beaten up by the bouncer saying, it was rather a customer identified as Troy Wamala who is now on run.’’Mozey Radio was not beaten up by our bouncer as it is said, he was beaten up by the customer after pouring booze on him.

Mozey first insulted our boss George Egesa that he is poor and cant afford buying him a bottle of black Label and then Egesa got pisssed off and bought mozey Radio a bottle of black label which he didn’t take and decided to pour it on whoever was seated in the bar including Troy Wamala who allegedly hit Radio on the ground,” said the Auditor Arinaitwe.
