A British national collapsed and died while touring the pygmies’ settlements in Butanda Sub-County, Kabale District on Saturday. Kigezi regional police spokesman, Elly Maate, identified the deceased as Mukesh Shukla.
Shukla died while being taken to Kabale regional referral hospital.
He had on Friday checked in at Bunyonyi Resort with his colleagues identified as Tejal Raval, Nishma Raval and Kalvider Barad.
They had also toured Ishasha in Kanungu District. His body was taken to Kabale hospital mortuary for a post-mortem.
