Am ready to battle minister Kyambadde in next elections – former Buyende DPC Muhammad Kirumira

The former Buyende DPC Muhammad Kirumira has announced to battle minister America Ann Kyambadde on Member of Parliament post in Mawokota North in the next elections. After police court gave him the punishment of chopping two of his ranks in police, Kirumira immediately announced that it is his time to turn an acting politician.

“…..residents of Mawokota requested me to come in the next elections which I cannot deny and disobey my elders so minister Kyambadde I appeal to you that you get aware of my competition”Kirumira said. He says that he is aware that minister Kyambadde has money and he cannot compete her by money and he will not use posters since he is a poster himself….”if it will need me to use a bicycle to look for votes I will ride it “ Kirumira stressed.

Kirumira adds that he wants to go to parliament so that he can fight for policemen whom he says their living condition is embarrassing like poor feeding, poor housing, poor payments and worst of all discrimination.

Kirumira says that he wants to meet president Museveni so that he can help him retire fast  and he request Museveni that he may be allowed to retire with his ranks that were chopped from police court and he wants to use this chance and inform Museveni about the bean weevils “kawukuumi” still in police.

The new leadership in police

Kirumira talks about the new leadership in police and say that it is fair but there is still a big job to work upon police since there is a lot of bad people still need to be removed. Kirumira says that he will have to appeal to court so that he can be returned his ranks.

Kirumira cases

Kirumira was accused on cases like; revealing prisoners including the policeman to journalists,to misuse his authority and chase village residents, job neglect that caused prisoners break off,

However Kirumira was removed four cases include; stealing a chapat, obtaining 4100 shillings money from Hassan Kayongo in form of bribery, and 1,300,000shillings from George Kalera and Robert Kaleefu

IGP Martin Okoth Ochola informed the cabinet that Kirumira’s behaviors need to be worked on much because they have advised him several times but he has insisted so the police was right to barry the journalists from court because whenever he sees cameras he becomes wild however he regretted over the policemen that beat journalists while acting in their field and promised to take caution on that and do investigations about it.
