Uganda has registered 25 new death making it the highest in a single day bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 459.
According to the ministry of health data released on June 13th this year, at least 64,521 cases were recorded with 920 patients and 48,480 recoveries
According to Dr. Charles Olaro the director curative services at Ministry of Health, the rising numbers are brought about by the publics reluctance on observing Standard Operating Procedures set by Government.
Dr. Monica Musenero, the senior presidential advisor on epidemics said one infected person can infect 10-15 people making cases grow faster than previously when a person would infect not be likely not to infect more than two people.
The government has since announced strict measures to ensure the control of spewed of the various including closing cross border transport and closure of schools and public gatherings
