Former Member of Parliament Kato Lubwama is one of the guests that witnessed Pastor Aloysius Bugingo get married to his mistress Susan Makula on December 7, 2021, in a traditional marriage ceremony known as Kwanjula.
Lubwama just like Bugingo himself maintains that the ceremony was just a casual visit to Makula’s family.
The statements came after city lawyer Male Mabirizi dragged Makula and Bugingo to court accusing them of getting married illegally.
As their case hearing is set to take place on January 21, 2022, Lubwama has vowed to testify in favor of his friend saying that crooks never betray each other.
“I can’t betray Bugingo no matter what, a crook has two important rules, one is that can’t betray his fellow crook. To is that he always defends his fellow crook regardless of what he has done,” Lubwama swore.
He additionally encouraged Bugingo saying that all will be well.
“Bugingo my brother Keep strong, we will go through it,” Lubwama added.
