In the mid 2000s singer Sweet Kid was a household name with super bangers such as “Mama Brenda,” “Silina Mulala” among others.
Fast forward to 2022, the singer is no longer interested in gracing the stage and can perform at any price.
The singer was a hit sensation with charming vocals and a magnet for collabos. However, while speaking to local television, the singer revealed that he officially retired from music and can’t be dragged back on the stage for any price.
Sweet Kid is currently putting his sole focus on business, saying he realised he doesn’t have to be a singer to be successful.
The singer now owns a bar that is paying him well. He says he realized there is a better life after music and that’s what he aspires to crave for.
In fact, the singer revealed that even if he gets a high paying gig abroad, he would not go there for any amount. This is a sharp contrast to other artistes who have stubbornly refused to retire despite having been in the game for so long. It is believed that most of such artistes failed to invest their money.
