Singer Jose Chameleone has launched a scathing attack at singer turned politician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine, branding a leader of hateful people who are obsessed with revenge.
Chameloene launched the attack during a live interview on a local TV on Friday evening. Chameloene, while responding to backlash generated from his kneeling as he received a brand new Range Rover for defecting from the National Unity Platform back to the ruling NRM government, said only hateful people filled with revenge are furious with his actions.
He revealed that he believes the same people who are filled with hate and tendencies of “an eye for an eye” are the same people who want to take over the leadership of this country. This was a veiled attack at the NUP camp.
When asked about whether he thinks Bobi Wine still stands tall in Uganda’s music industry and whether he is still friends with the NUP boss, Chameleone went bare knuckles, saying his friendship with Bobi Wine is useless, saying he’d rather be friends with Bebe Cool than Bobi, owing to the fact that Bebe always brings him a cake at his brithday.
He went ahead to proclaim that Bobi Wine is finished musically and is nolonger relevant in the current music industry, reiterating his earlier claim that Bobi sticks to politics.
