Popular promoter Suudiman cheated death by a whisker after surviving a life threatening gun shootout. Also known as Suudi Lukwago, the renowned music promoter is currently nursing head injuries sustained from a gunfire that took place on Thursday in Makindye, Kampala around Mubarak Road.
While revealing the saddening news to some of his friends in a WhatsApp group, Suudiman said that the shooting was massive. He however could not divulge details about the reasons behind the shooting.
“It is true, I was travelling with my brother Captain Trevor when we were caught up in the unfortunate crossfire.
“At the moment, there is not much I can comment about the shooting but I’m writing this post to assure people that I am not dead.
“Many crafty people have gone around extorting money from people claiming I am in theatre and need surgery to remove bullets lodged in my body. Others have gone ahead to pronounce me dead and are asking for condolences!
This wasn’t helped by the fact that my known phones were off. …,” Suudi
The promoter assured his people that he is receiving medication and will heal soon.
