The Deputy Speaker of Parliament has officially expressed interest in the Speakership race. She sent her personal assistant to deliver her documents. Her name will be forwarded to the CEC.
“Anita Among was unable to make it personally because of medical reasons,” her personal assistant said. Anita Among is not the only one who has shown interest in this race, Semuju Ngada, Oboth Oboth who is also NRM has shown interest.
All this is coming after the one who has been the speaker Hon Jacob Oulanyah breathing his last on the 20th March 2022.
