On 1st February 2018, Uganda lost one of its true musical greats, Moses Ssekibogo alias Mowzey Radio, a star singer with the Goodlyfe. However, almost four years after his tragic demise, Mowzey Radio is still, as claimed by many, the most talented artist of the current generation.
The fallen singer still stands out even in his death, according to his former master under the Leone Island, Jose Chameleone.
Chameleone still believes Mowzey Radio is the most talented artiste he has ever seen, saying the singer was a special breed. While speaking to local television station STV, Chameleone revealed that Radio was a handful and a very controversial and infuriating figure but his talent was unmatched.
Chameleone recalled a particular incident in which the “Nakudata” hitmaker launched a scathing tirade at him in his own home and in front of his own wife Daniela Atim.
He however added that the singer was quick to shrug it off as a cold joke. He thereafter thanked Jose for the role he played in making him a superstar. Chameleone revealed that many artists have come out and coped with Radio’s vocals and style, but have not managed to scale his heights.
