Another NUP elect MP parliamentary post at risk over academic documents.

The Rubaga South elected Member of Parliament Mr. Aloysious Mukasa is likely to lose his parliamentary seat over lack of academic documents. Mukasa won the January 14 elections in RUbaga South running on the National Unity Platform NUP ticket.

However, a petition filled by Democratic Party’s (DP) Eugenia Nassolo challenging his election could risk him lose out the seat over discrepancies and inconsistencies in his academic documents.

The academic documents accessed by this reporter show that Hon. Mukasa presented to the Electoral Commission (EC), a deed poll in which he was changing names to include names like Carlton Gold was done after the voter registration exercise.

Again, the same deed poll indicates that Aloysious Mukasa had dropped the usage of the name Mukasa Aloysious Carlton Gold, the same that he later adopts as his known names moving forward thus rendering the entire deed poll null and void.

Mukasa’s UACE submitted to EC for nomination has also raised legal questions. The certificate, purportedly issued by UNEB indicates only one subject (Fine Art), these have become subject of debate.

Mukasa become popular in Rubaga when he founded “FACO”, a lucrative business dealing in resizing(enlarging) human body parts that is popular amongst city girls with slim butts (buttocks) and manhood enlargement.

Mukasa is one of the embattled NUP MPs battling election petitions over academic documents, others include Kawempe North MP-elect Ssegirinya Muhammad popularly known as Mr. Updates, Makindye- Ssabagabo Municipality MP-elect Sserukenya, Nansana Municipality MP-elect Wakayima Musoke, and Paul Nsubuga Busiro North MP-elect.
