Singer Bebe Cool was forced off stage at Tarrus Riley concert at Cricket Oval Lugogo by angry fans on Friday night. For over 15 minutes, The fans Revelers at fully packed while chanting ‘People Power’ threw bottles to Bebe Cool booed him and started throwing bottles.
Bebe is is said to be to the ruling government and has lately been vocal against Bobi Wine’s People Power ‘movement’
As the band kicked off sounds of his hit song ‘Love you every day’, furious fans booed him. They pelted the singer with anything they could get hold of as the live band acts scampered for their dear lives.
Bebe Cool defiantly stood bare chested with his both arms stretched like Jesus on the cross. Yes, the People Power youths were in the audience to crucify him for being anti-Bobi Wine and they succeeded.
To avoid more chaos, Bebe was muted and it took the intervention of security to get him off stage.
However, when Tarrus Riley came on stage and shortly after shouted ‘People Power Is Our Power’ sending cheers and jubilation through the crowd.
