It was on Saturday 25th night of November that the entire country shall leave to remember after a tragedy of death that roomed over 100 lives on a boat cruise.
This was after a wreckage of the boat that capsized on Lake Victoria en-route Mutima Island in Mpatta sub-county.
The revelers on this boat included Buganda Kingdom Prince David Wassaja and singer Iryn Namubiru who had accompanied their friends to the boat cruise.
The ‘Nkuwe Ki’ singer confirmed herself alive shunning earlier allegations that she was dead.
“I would like to thank all of you who have reached out to me. By GOD’S GRACE I am still Alive ,safe and getting medical attention but so traumatised. My deepest thoughts to our comrades who didn’t make it and condolences to the bereaved families. What can I say? GOD #NSIIMYE ,” she posted on her twitter.
Apparently, the singer is still admitted at Mulago hospital as she suffers deep phyclogical torture of the tragedy night.
However, the search exercise for the dead is still on as there is no hope left for rescuing more survivors.
