By Wycliff G; It was really undiscovered state of art at the 12th edition of the Bayimba Festival that commenced on Thursday 1st August 2019 at Lunkulu Island, Mukono.
The four-day experience of music, dance, theatre, film, visual arts, and foods has left a memorable note in the minds of most partiers worldwide.
The event was flocked with a multitude number of people representing different kinds of cultures (local and international) but eager wine and mingle in a nonstop entertainment and nature breeze.
From Kampala city to Nkoko Njeru, Mukono, it was extremely anxiety among most party animals setting off for this journey and it was easier to conclude that their destination was Lunkulu Island.
In Nkoko Njeru, “Lunkulu Island” was the theme for the entire week, the town got busier than never before, businesses and transport mean all reaping big from travelers.
Reaching the main venue, it depicted a real festival in the middle of nature
As its theme Bayimba festival accounts, row-talent from the art was given a chance to showcase its ability.
Music is one of the most dominant forms of entertainment in Uganda, you would not be surprised why a countless number of upcoming and established artists had to desperately find their brands in the festival.
Bayimba being one of the modernized festivals in the African lands, two stages were set; Centre Stage and Bukunja stage.
Live performances at the Centre Stage were from Kenneth Mugabi, Aziz Azion, Gravity Omutujju, DJ Shiru, Willy Mukabya, Sarah Zawedde (Zawee Band) among others are memorable in this edition.
