By Wycliff G; It was last night that top Nigerian superstar Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun aka Wizkid made history for the third time as his performance took Kampala city at stardom.
Despite the heavy downpour earlier in the evening, party animals continuously flocked Kololo Independence Grounds for the highly anticipated concert of the year.
Local artists such as; John Blaq, Vinka, and Fik Fameica got the curtains rolled up for the ‘Joro’ hitmaker who stepped on stage by 11:30 PM.
Wizkid got revelers on their dancing feet for almost one hour with his hit songs such as; Joro, Fever, Brown skin girl, Ghetto Love, Daddy Yo, Come closer, among others.
The Nigerian superstar also fired-up the crowd when he was joined by Ugandan singer Weasel Manizo and together they performed the ‘Don’t cry’ song as they paid tribute to the late Mowzey Radio (RIP).
Here, Wizkid revealed that the Late Mowzey Radio is s true legend whose life is supposed to be commemorated every time.
It was really a successful concert for the organizers Kasana Events and East Meets West.
