By Wycliff G; The Ministry of Works and Transport in Uganda has announced the suspension of issuance of driving permits for 30 days.
“We hereby regret to inform the public that due to Corona Virus outbreak, all Computerized Driving Permit facilities across the country have been closed for 30 days effective immediately,” the Ministry of Works and Transport stated on its social media.
This comes-in days after the President suspended all public transport means for 14-days as a strategy of combatting COVID-19 Pandemic.
