By Wycliff G; Jamaican dancehall musician Clifford Smith better known as Mr. Vegas has hailed National Unity Platform Presidential flag bearer Bobi Wine for his courageous heart in fighting for freedom in Uganda.
The ‘Bruk it down’ hitmaker’s remarks land as a retweet on Bobi Wine’s latest post a few hours after being uncuffed.
In his words, Bobi Wine was saddened by the ongoing dire situation in the country after his release from prison where over 37 people were shot dead during the bloody protests on Wednesday last week.
“Returned from prison to find over 37 citizens shot dead in two days. Gen. Museveni is ready to kill thousands to keep in power like he did on the way in. The hunger for freedom is sweeping over Uganda,” Bobi Wine wrote.
Bobi Wine also vowed to never cease the struggle to freedom.
“He may kill us, but he will NOT stop the people’s yearning for #Freedom,” Bobi Wine added.
Mr. Vegas responded to these words with a large applause to Bobi Wine as a King.
“Freedom is a must!!! Ase ase ase! Hail King BOBIWINE,” Mr. Vegas retweeted.
