By Website writer; H.E YK Museveni last night in a televised new year address, revealed that military personnel killed renowned 40year old legendary boxer Isaac Senyange aka Zebra.
In his social media statement, Museveni went ahead to reveal his findings in the investigations regarding Zebra’s murder.
President Museveni says he called Zebra’s wife for a clear narration of the fatal incident on Wednesday 30th December, 2020 upon landing on the unfortunate news.
Museveni reveals how Zebra has been one of the stronghold mobilizers of the NRM party and he had already aligned a meeting with him.
According to his wife, strange faces dressed in Police uniform came to pick-up Zebra but he refuted and tried to escape using his wall fence.
Initially, President Museveni suggested that it could have been city thugs disguising in Police uniform not until liable investigations proved to him that security personnel were responsible for Zebra’s murder.
The head of state pleaded mercy to Zebra’s family and promised to keep them updated with new findings.
He also promised to establish justice to the family once the murderers are found guilty.

When I heard of the unfortunate death of Isaac Ssenyange alias Mando Zebra, Uganda’s boxer and former captain of the Bombers. I telephoned his wife who narrated to me the events in detail.
Zebra was an NRM supporter, and was mobilizing for us so well. He was also training many youths in the ghetto and giving them hope in their search for meaningful life.
Indeed, Zebra was meant to come and see me when he was killed.
Zebra’s wife told me people in police uniform came to pick Zebra but he jumped over the wall and could have met another group who shot him.
At first, I thought they were thugs disguising in uniform, but as I continued investigations, I found out that Zebra was killed by security personnel.
This is sad and devastating and I AM VERY SORRY about this. I will keep on this case and will bring every finding to the knowledge of his family and the murderers will be dealt with accordingly. I AM SO SORRY.
