By Website writer; The government of Uganda has declared Thursday 14th January 2021 and Friday 15th January 2021 as public holidays to enable citizens participate in the election of the President and Members of Parliament.
This follows a letter published on the government’s official social media, Ms. Catherine Bitarakwate Musingwiire, the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Public Service confirming that the two will be observed as public holidays throughout the country.
Ms. Bitarakwate has also requested the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology to relay this information the announcement on the Uganda Broadcasting Network.
