Uganda Airlines buries criticisms as it parades the two A330neo Airbuses at Entebbe Airport

This follows mounted criticism from government opposition side, daring the Uganda Airlines to have received the second A330neo Airbus as it was announced last year.

Uganda Airlines, the country’s flag-carrier, took delivery of its two A330neo, the latest version of the most popular widebody airliner.

In December, 2020 the first Airbus aircraft was delivered to Uganda Airlines, which was revamped in 2019.

The second Airbus touched down on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 and received by the Prime Minister, Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda.

In line with the Company’s strategy to keep offering its customers unbeatable economics, increased operational efficiency and superior passenger comfort, the A330-800 is the latest addition to Airbus’ commercial aircraft product line. The A330neo will enable the new airline to launch its long-range operations with non-stop intercontinental flights to the Middle East, Europe and Asia.
