By Website Writer; The Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja has tabled before Parliament lists of some of the relief cash beneficiaries from various cities and municipalities.
Hon. Nabbanja told Parliament that 87,603 Didn’t pass the verification exercise by Telecom databases for the following reasons;
- Invalid ID numbers presented.
- Telephone numbers are registered under different National Identification Numbers (NIN) from their personal NINs.
20 numbers have been sent back to the cities and municipalities for correction before payments can be made.
She also revealed that out of 501,107 total number vulnerable Ugandan citizens submitted, 413,504 (82.5%) have formerly received their cash.
