By Website Writer; Ministry of Health – Uganda has condemned, the Icon Lounge located at Forest Mall Kampala for fouling the Presidential guidelines in curbing Covid-19 in the country.
According to the Ministry of Health Senior Public Relations Officer, Ainebyoona Emmanuel, the Forest Mall-based bar is a big threat to the country as it operates amidst other hangouts still closed.
Mr. Ainebyoona says the hangout is likely to spark the third Covid-19 wave in Uganda if not stopped.
He further asks the Uganda Police to intervene as soon as possible as it implements the statutory instrument given to it by the Minister of Health, Jane Ruth Aceng.
“This hangout at Forest Mall will be among the things that will drive us to the COVID-19 3rd wave. Uganda Police please implement the statutory instrument by the Minister of Health Jane Ruth Aceng. Video camera taken at the weekend,” Ainebyoona Emmanuel stated on Twitter.
