By Website writer; Kawempe North Member of Parliament Hon. Ssegirinya has further been remanded at Kigo Prison over charges of inciting violence using his social media.
Hon. Ssegirinya was produced in Buganda Road Court in a dire health condition on Friday via video conferencing.
However, he denied the charges and promoting the judge to send him back to Kigo prison until 29th October for mention and bail hearing.
Among the witnesses for Hon. Ssegirinya’s appearance in court was his mother Ms. Justine Nakajumba who broke down into tears as she requested government to pardon her son whom she said was in pain and too sick to be in prison.
In September, the self-proclaimed ‘Mr. Updates’ was arrested together with Makindye East legislator Hon. Allan Ssewanyana on issues concerning the recent intolerable killings in Masaka district.
