By Website Writer; Member of Parliament Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya has shocked the public as he displayed injuries on his foot while appearing at Buganda Road Magistrate’s Court on Friday, October 15, 2021.
The Kawempe North legislator who appeared via Zoom live from Kigo government Prison for his bail hearing revealed that he sustained injuries from torture meted out to him after his arrest last month.
However, Hon. Ssegirinya clearly told Buganda Road Court Grade one magistrate, Ms Doreen Karungi that he has no idea on the offence of inciting violence they slapped against him early this year.
He was further remanded to Kigo government prison until October 29, 2021 after the state prosecutor, Ms Judith Nyinamwiza informed court that investigations into the case are still ongoing.
His mother, Ms. Justine Nakajumba broke down into endless tears as he begged the state to be remorseful and forgive his son who is not a good health shape.
