By Website Writer; Following his release Turkish Authorities from detention, popular Ugandan government critic and Vlogger, Fred Lumbuye Kajjubi is wanted by the Uganda Police force.
According to the Uganda Police spokesperson Fred Enanga, Lumbuye is still priority on the wanted list to answer charges against him.
It should be recalled after Lumbuye’s arrest in June, the Uganda Police revealed that Lumbuye was to be repatriated back to Uganda to answer at least 15 case files opened against him.
“will summon him as soon as he is in jurisdiction,” Police said.
“Our position is still the same,” Fred Enanga told the New Vision.
Fred Lumbuye was on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 released from Kocaeli Foreigners Detention Centre in Turkey where he had been held for almost 4months.
The Nation Unity Platform (NUP) vlogger was set free though with some pending cases in Turkey, Foreign Affairs shadow minister, Hon. Muwada Nkunyingi revealed.
