By Website Writer; Members of Parliament and senior government officials have started arriving at Entebbe International Airport to receive the body of the fallen Speaker, Rt Hon. Jacob Oulanyah.
The casket is expected to arrive from University of Washington Medical Centre in Seattle USA this afternoon Aboard Ethiopian Airlines and will be treated with full honors via the VVIP lounge.
The deceased Speaker’s body immediately after, will be handed over to APlus Funeral Management services.
According to the program shared by the Minister for Presidency, Milly Babalanda earlier this week, Speaker Oulanyah will receive a state funeral, estimated worth Ugx. 2.5Billion.
On Sunday April 3, 2022 and Monday April 4, 2022 at 9:00AM, the body will lie at the home of the former Speaker in Muyenga, Kampala where friends and well-wishers will pay their last respects.
There will be a simple requiem mass conducted and attended by few people on Sunday.
