Enanga should leave me out of his “Oulanyah-poison” drama – Minister Baryomunsi

By Website Writer; Minister of Information, Communications Technology and National Guidance Hon. Dr. Chris Baryomunsi has urged the Uganda Police to conduct themselves in a professional manner.

This comes after authorities summoned him, the Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah’s father, Mr. Nathan Okori, National Unity Platform (NUP) party President Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine), National Resistance Movement (NRM) Vice Chairperson for Buganda Godfrey Kiwanda to explain the “Oulanyah poisoning” allegations that they are said to have involved in the past days.

During his address at the Uganda Media Center on Tuesday, the Kinkizi East Constituency, Kanungu District legislator distanced himself from what he calls bogus allegations of poisoning the Late Oulanyah.

The ICT Minister also warned Kiwanda Suubi together with Uganda Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga to stop dragging his name to their drama.

It is improper to summon a father who has just lost his child. At this rate Enanga will summon the late Jacob Oulanyah. Enanga should stop being excited and shouldn’t drag me into this drama,” Hon. Dr. Chris Baryomunsi said.

During the fallen Speaker’s State Funeral earlier this month, H.E YK Museveni condemned and warned all people flourishing rumors that Jacob Oulanyah was poisoned.

President Museveni also directed the responsible government authorities to take on summons to anyone who has publicly related the Late Speaker’s cause of death to poison.

This prompted the government security agencies led by the Uganda Police to call some of the suspects in the matter for interrogations.
