By Website Writer; Former Forum for Democratic of Change (FDC) president, Rtd. Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye has today May 12, 2022 been arrested outside his home in Kasangatti, Wakiso district.
This follows his attempted move to walk to the Central Business District, Kampala City Centre as a protest against the raising prices commodities in the country.
Besigye who last made a capital move in the political scene almost 5years ago was immediately arrested by the Uganda Police, anti-riot unit upon stepping out of his house.
Uganda continues to suffer a heavy blow of stiff rise in commodity prices which sparked earlier this year upon the escalated fuel prices too.
