By Website Writer; The Uganda Police Force Spokesperson Fred Enanga has downplayed critics for his Golden Medal accorded to him for his distinguished services to the government on the 2022 National Heroes Day.
The spokesperson was among the 81 people who received Golden Jubilee medals for their exceptional and outstanding contribution to the government on the 2022 National Heroes Day celebrations at Kololo Independence Grounds on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
News about Enanga receiving a golden medal on the heroic day was first shared on Wednesday evening by the Minister of State, Office of the President in charge of Economic Monitoring, Hon. Peter Ogwang.
“Today, I addressed the media on the forthcoming Heroes’ Day fete on Thursday. This year’s theme is “Commemorating our Heroes & Heroines: An opportunity to consolidate our efforts in securing Uganda. 81 medalists including Police spokesperson Fred Enanga are going to be awarded,” Hon. Peter Ogwang stated.
Fred Enanga has watered down voices from the public, and the opposition criticizing his Jubilee Golden Medal.
Enanga says that the medal is a clear signature of how effective his work has been to the country for his last 21years of service in the Uganda Police.
“The [Heroes Day] medal is a great motivation. It shows that there’s much trust and appreciation in my work as a police officer. This is the 5th medal I have received in my 21 years of service as a police officer,” Fred Enanga told the press.
