The most recent terror attack was in November 2021 where two suicide bombs took place in Kampala City, leaving dozens dead and injured.
This forced the UPDF in conjunction with the Democratic of Congo army unleashed an offensive attack on the ADF camps in Congo dubbed “Operation Shujja”.
The operation has since proved effective with a number of the camps destroyed, rebels killed and some arrested.
