By Website Writer; The government of the republic of Uganda is to start carrying out medical checkups for citizens before travelling abroad for prolonged stays and work-related programmes.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs Uganda publicist Simon Mundeyi, the government has often been pointed-at for not being responsible for the lives of its citizens who travel for greener pastures.
These have often suffered circumstance of human organ trading in the diaspora where they settle against their wills, hence calling for the new move.
“We’ve had some false allegations from people who have travelled to Arab countries to work, about their body organs being harvested while there,” Ministry of Internal Affairs Uganda publicist Simon Mundeyi said.
