By Website Writer; The Ministry of Health – Uganda has today Tuesday, October 11, 2022 discharged five health workers have recovered from Ebola at Entebbe Isolation unit.
These are our health workers that were referred from Mubende to Fort Portal and later on to Entebbe.
The health ministry further appeals to the public to be calm and vigilant as the country responds to the lethal Ebola outbreak.
Ebola resurged in Uganda in September 2022 after quite many years.
The first cases were reported in Mubende district asfter a 24-year-old male a resident Ngabano village of Madudu Sub County in Mubende District presented with EVD symptoms and later succumbed.
By this publication time, there are;
New cases – 4, cumulative confirmed cases – 48, active cases on admission – 14, new deaths – 7, cumulative deaths – 17, contacts listed for follow up – 1049, recoveries – 14.
