By Website Writer; Ebola has claimed the life of another health worker as the country struggles to contain the spread of the virus.
Mubende RDC Rosemary Byabashaija confirmed the death identifying the deceased as Dr. John Grace Walugembe who succumbed to the disease late Sunday.
Today, October 17, 2022, a team led by Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng, the Minister of Health engaged with the Bweyongede community in Kassanda District. The communities were keen to listen about the ongoing response. The team includes; Dr. Diana Atwine, Henry Mwebesa, Yonas Tegegn Woldemariam, Richard Kabanda, Munir Safieldin, and other partners.
It’s also understandable that over 125 focal persons and individuals from Bunyangabu and Madudu sub-counties on Ebola risk communication.
The training aimed to increase community awareness and engagement in the fight against Ebola in Uganda.
The symptoms of Ebola are; Diarrhea, headache, general weakness, chest pain, pain on swallowing, sudden onset fever, vomiting, unexplained bleeding from anybody opening like ear, nose, mouth, eyes, anus.
