By Website Writer; On Friday, November 4, 2022, the Uganda People’s Defense Air Forces (UPDAF) with the permission of the DRC Government made an attack on rebel group, Allied Democratic Forces (ADF).
In a statement released by President of Uganda, H.E Gen. YK Museveni, the attacked and destroyed was one of the biggest terrorist camp of ADF at locations: i.01°14′ 16′′North and 029° 35′ 26.97′′ East;ii.01° 14′ 19.91′′ North and 029° 35′ 19.91′′ East;iii.01° 13′ 57.71′′ North and 029° 35′ 06.24′′East.
In December 2021, the UPDF working with the Congolese Forces officially made their first offensive route against the rebel outfit in DRC in an operation dubbed ‘Operation Shuuja’.
Since then, the operation has seen the joint forces successfully dislodge ADF terrorists out of their stronghold camping sites around Congo.
