Tension as drones pickup Hajji Nadduli’s family members in Ssemuto

According to respected sources, 5 members of the former Minister without Portfolio’s family living Ssemuto, Nakaseke district were picked up by strange vehicles popularly now days known as “drones”.

Area authorities say the operation was done between 3:00-4:00AM.

This sparks verge barely a month ever since Hajji Nadduli’s son Suleiman Jakana Nadduli passed-on.

Reports confirmed Jakana dead under unknown circumstances in the wee hours of Monday, October 24, 2022 morning, days after his release from prison.

Jakana who contested for Nakaseke central MP seat in 2021 elections was released on bail in September 2022, days after he was arrested on charges of promoting sectarianism.

He went missing for several days and it was reported he had been abducted by security agencies but later police opened up about Jakana’s disappearance.

Police spokesperson, Fred Enanga said he had already been arraigned in court where he pleaded guilty to charges of promoting sectarianism contrary to section 41 of the Penal Code Act and remanded to Butuntumula prison.

However, on return to court, he changed his plea to deny the charges and was consequently released on bail.
