Beenie Man didn’t consult me, that’s why his show flopped – King Michael

By Website Writer; Over the weekend, top Jamaican singer Anthony Moses Davis, better known by his stage name Beenie Man had such an embarrassing time as he returned to Uganda for the third time.

This follows his show organized by Top Boy Entertainment registering a flopped turnup.

Beenie Man after landing at Entebbe International Airport last week.

Beenie Man who performed on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Uganda’s biggest Music show venue, Lugogo Cricket Oval alongside South Africa’s Focalistic, Mellow and Sleeazy and Uganda’s Vinka, Azawi and Winnie Nwagi was disappointed after seeing just a handful of revelers at the show.

Beenie Man has since taken-a-whip at the concert organizer Top Boy for overpricing the tickets to the show, hence frustrating the attendance.

However, appearing on a local radio station interview, longtime Ugandan Dancehall music singer, King Michael has scolded Beenie Man himself for not consulting him (King Michael) prior holding a show in Uganda.

King Michael said that Beenie Man would have held a successful show had he consulted him (King Michael) as the King of Dancehall in Uganda.

The problem is that he didn’t consult me about his show here in Uganda. Am the dancehall king in Uganda. I would have helped advising him how to go by the show. But he ignored me,” King Michael said.

Nigeria’s Oxlade didn’t perform as expected despite landing in the country too.

The last time the “King of the Dancehall” crooner had performed in Uganda was in 2009 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.
