By Website Writer; General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has announced plans of launching his own political party.
This follows a mammoth of rumors sparking online for quite a while about his political ambitions come the General Elections in 2026, which he believes have been unclear.
Taking it to his Twitter on Monday, the first son revealed that its minutes away for his political party to be launched.
However, he refuted the “National Progressive Party” name that has so many times been reported to be his in the docket.
“My party and Jesus Christ’s party is not called ‘National Progressive Party’. We have a much better name than that!” Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba stated.
“In a few weeks, I will make an important announcement. Not on Twitter but by other means. I will make it in my personal capacity and as the leader of our generation,” he added.
This comes in just hours after he fired a warning to individuals signing declarations against him in the National Resistance Movement (NRM).
“Those people signing declarations against us in the NRM. We will teach you what Uganda means. This country belongs to Almighty God and the people of Uganda. Let us see who is stronger you or us?” Gen. Muhoozi’s tweet reads.
