By Website Writer; At the invitation of US President Joe Biden, H.E President Kaguta Museveni has left for the United States of America (USA) to attend the US-Africa Leaders’ Summit happening on December 13, 2022 2022 in Washington DC.
The 3-day summit US-Africa Leaders’ Summit hosted by the President of the United States Joe Biden aims at building on the shared values and priorities as well as to foster new economic engagements.
Enroute to the USA, H.E YK Museveni made a stopover in the United Kingdom where he will hold several official engagements in the coming hours.
“I have arrived in the United Kingdom for a stopover working visit, shortly before joining my fellow heads of State in USA for the US-Africa leaders’ summit,” a statement on H.E YK Museveni’s Twitter reads.
The summit will also cover issues that include among other topics; Peace & security, strengthen regional & global health security, promote food security as well as respond to the climate crisis.
According to H.E President YK Museveni, He is attending the summit with the aim of getting partners to cooperate with in the process of accelerating the ongoing value addition of products, expanding & diversifying the economy.
