By Website Writer; The long wait is over as the Uganda National Examinations (UNEB) is set to release the 2022 Uganda Certificate of Education results.
According to UNEB’s statement on Wednesday, the results will be out on Thursday February 9, 2023.
Two weeks ago, UNEB released the results of the 2022 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) which was conducted on the 8th and 9th November 2022.
“We wish to congratulate the learners who have performed well in the PLE 2022. Appreciation goes to the school administration, parents and District Inspectors of Schools (MIS, CIS) for the support and sacrifices that you rendered to candidates, that led to their success,” a statement by UNEB read.
UNEB also noted that in 2022, analysis by gender shows that 400,100 (48.1%) boys were registered compared to 432,554 (51.9%) girls, indicating that more girls than boys completed the Primary Education cycle. This has been the trend in the last six years.
