Socialite and NBS Television presenter Sheilah Gashumba clashes with her potential customers over pride and arrogance.
At the start of this month, Sheilah Gashumba officially opened her Glam Shop dubbed Gash Luxe in Kampala.
A few days after the shop opened, the socialite used Snapchat to issue a stern warning to her clients that negotiating was not permitted at her store.
“I posted this and I will post this again!! Prices at gash luxe are fixed!! When I was working on that store, never did I bargain with even the interior designer because I respect everyone’s job. Everyone that I’ve purchased something from no I never bargain, so why come bargain in my store.” said a rather frustrated Sheilah Gashumba.
However, Sheilah’s comments didn’t sit well with some of her followers, who felt they were uncalled for and deemed remarks as arrogance and pride toward her potential clients.

In her response to a one Sunday Murinde Survivor, a Twitter user who suggested that Sheilah’s decision to blend business and arrogance was a poor one, Sheilah stated that his view was irrelevant because he had made no financial contribution to her UGX 200M capital-valued company.
Sheilah further emphasized that they are not her target demographic, pointing out that if customers don’t bargain at other stores like Mr. Price and Woolworth, why would they do so at her store?
